Installation Guide:

  1. Safety First: Disconnect the battery and wear safety glasses and gloves.
  2. Relieve Fuel Pressure: Follow your engine's service manual to safely relieve pressure from the fuel system.
  3. Disconnect Electrical Connector: Carefully unclip the wire harness from the existing fuel injector.
  4. Remove Old Injector: Unbolt and gently remove the old injector from the fuel rail. Be prepared for minor fuel spillage.
  5. Install New Injector: Lightly lubricate the new O-rings with clean engine oil and press the new injector firmly into place.
  6. Secure Injector: Re-install the mounting bolts and tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  7. Reconnect: Attach the electrical connector to the new injector.
  8. Pressurize System: Reconnect the battery. Turn the key to the "On" position (without starting) a few times to prime the fuel pump and pressurize the system.
  9. Check for Leaks: With the system pressurized, carefully inspect the injector and fuel rail for any signs of fuel leaks before starting the engine.
