This belt tension in gauge can be used on any vehicle, ATV or motorcycle with an auxiliary transfer belt and a 10 lb. weight, etc. Ideal for motorcycle belt replacement, adjustment or repair.

U Bracket: This universal belt tension gauge has a universal U bracket designed to hold the belt firmly in place while you adjust the tension, helping to reduce friction when tensioning the belt properly to extend the life of the belt.
Easy To Use: Place the small O on top of the 10 lb mark and rest the U shaped bracket at a 90° angle against the bottom of the belt, position the large O- to the reference point and record the reading. Then push up on the rubber bumper until the small O touches the bottom of the tool body, then reposition the large O to the reference point, and the difference in the reading is the belt deflection.
