(1) Installation steps

Clean the trunk

Remove all debris from the trunk and wipe clean the original car flocking interior on both sides to ensure that the installation surface is free of dust and debris to avoid loose attachment.

Distinguish left and right baffles

The baffles are divided into left and right special models, which fit the curved contours on both sides of the trunk:

Left side baffle: suitable for the groove on the driver's side of the trunk

Right baffle: suitable for the groove on the passenger side of the trunk

Align with the curvature of the inner wall of the side and confirm the match before fixing.

Fixed baffle

Style 1 (adhesive version): Peel off the double-sided adhesive protective film on the back of the bezel, align the side grooves and press vertically, press firmly for 30 seconds, and let it sit for 24 hours before placing heavy objects;

Style 2 (buckle embedded): directly snap the bottom of the baffle into the gap between the trunk floor and the side flocking, and the upper part fits the side wall, no glue is needed, and the disassembly and assembly are traceless.

Used in combination on both sides

After the left and right baffles are all installed, independent blocking areas are formed on both sides of the trunk, and the main storage area in the middle can be divided into areas to store tools, shopping bags, water bottles, and car sundries.

(2) Daily operation

Partitioned storage

The left and right baffles separate the spaces on both sides: one side holds charging guns, emergency tools, and car wash supplies; one side holds snacks, umbrellas, and carry-on bags. It will not slide left or right or make abnormal noises while driving.

Flexible disassembly

The embedded version can be pulled out directly; the adhesive version can be peeled off slowly and evenly to avoid violent pulling and damage to the original car's flocked interior.

Expand use

When placing suitcases and cartons, the baffles can resist the box body to prevent the luggage from hitting the tailgate during sudden braking; purchased bags of fruits and vegetables and mineral water can be stuck on the sides to prevent them from rolling around.

2. Precautions

(1) Installation related

The recommended installation environment temperature for the adhesive-backed models is 15-30°C. When the temperature is low in winter, use a hair dryer to warm the adhesive first, so that the adhesive force will be stronger. Do not place heavy objects to pull the baffle within 24 hours after pasting.

Distinguish the left and right baffles, and do not force them to be installed in a misaligned position, otherwise the edges will warp, the fit will not be tight, and the blocking effect will be lost.

Be sure to wipe away any water stains on the interior before installation. A humid environment will cause the adhesive to fall off and leave residual adhesive.

(2) Driving use

The baffle is only used to block small debris. Do not rely on or place heavy items exceeding 20kg. Excessive weight will cause the baffle to deform and deglue.

Large suitcases still need to be secured during sudden braking at high speeds and bumpy roads. The baffles only assist in preventing small items from sliding and cannot replace straps to secure heavy objects.

Do not place sharp metal parts directly against the fender. Long-term friction will scratch the surface of the fender and also scratch the original trunk flocking.

(3) Cleaning and maintenance

If the bezel is dirty, just wipe it with a wet rag. Do not use alcohol or strong corrosive cleaners, which will corrode the surface material and melt the adhesive.

When you do not need to disassemble the adhesive-backed model for a long time, peel it off slowly and gently wipe the remaining offset printing with adhesive remover to avoid direct hard scratching damage to the interior.

When storing the fender, lay it flat and do not bend or squeeze it to prevent the plate from being permanently deformed and unable to fit the original vehicle.

(4) Model adaptation reminder

This product is only suitable for the trunk of the original Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Vehicles with modified trunk sound insulation and lining may have fitting gaps, so you need to compare the size in advance.

The automatic lifting and lowering of the trunk electric tailgate is not affected by the baffle, but do not let items get stuck between the baffle and the tailgate to avoid closing the door and squeezing and damaging accessories.

(5) Safety tips

Do not block the taillight, emergency handle, and reserved area for the charging port inside the trunk. The left and right baffles are specially molded and will not block the original car functions. Do not shift and cover them during installation.

When placing bottled liquid in the car, tighten the bottle cap and put it into the barrier. Long-term immersion in leaking liquid will reduce the viscosity of the backing adhesive.
