With a rounded bass curvature, low-mid frequencies, such as bass guitar notes, are full and rich. However, the Martilo maintains tonal balance and prevents bloating and muddyness by utilizing a defined 200Hz bass-shelf crossover.

Full Detail Retrieval with Planar Drivers

The Martilo utilizes custom planar drivers which are dedicated to the upper treble frequencies. Planar magnetic drivers have significantly faster responses than typical dynamic or balanced armature drivers, allowing enhanced transients and resolution. Tuned to target the upper midrange and treble frequencies, these planar drivers effectively enhance the ultra treble ranges for more air and headspace in the sound. The upper frequencies have been tuned to best exhibit the planar drivers, while maintaining a comfortable listening experience. The result is an excellent balance between micro-detail retrieval and a pleasant musical session.
