So it is not a quality problem.
Especially if your local temperature is very low, the rubber case will become harder, you can heat it up a little with a hair dryer, or put it in a warm room for a while, and the rubber case will automatically return to its normal shape.

There are some situations:
a.The steel(Fe) substrate with a non-magnetic metal layer(such as zinc,cooper etc.), and there is non-metallic paint on the layer.The device will show as Fe+Zn.
The measure result is the thickness of the layer + the thinckness of the paint.
b.The steel(Fe) substrate with a non-magnetic metal layer(such as zinc,cooper etc.), and there is non-magnetic metallic paint on the layer.The device will show as Fe+Zn.
The measure result is the thickness of the layer + the thinckness of the paint.
c.The steel(Fe) substrate with non-magnetic metallic paint(such as zinc, cooper etc.), the device will show as Fe+Zn. The measure result is the paint thickness.
